Pictures of the equipment

The equipment of the roman soldiers distinguished according to the function of the troop. The ranks made also differences.

The following figures show soldiers from the time between the 1st century and the 3rd century AD.

	Centurion The Centurion is an officer, which commanded a Centuries (approx. 80 men). According to the kind of the equipment it could here be a question of a Centurion of an auxiliary troop.
