Site of the relayIn the years 1968 and 1971 were excavated the rests of a relay (mutatio) near the church St. Mauritius.

A stone building was 9 to 8.5 meters large. On the western side was the entry with a porch from 1.4 to 1.8 meters. This building had a mortar floor. Furthermore were found the rests of four stoves of different times. It existed also stock pits.

West of this building were various timber constructions. These had stone walls and a mortar floor too.

Among other things following was found: a coin of Carinus (283 - 285 AD), few pieces of jewellery, bronze, stone, iron objects, fragments of lavez pots, fragments of terra sigillata and pieces of daily use pottery.

This relay was mainly used in the 3rd and 4th century AD. It was built at the junction to the Ofenpass and into the Oberengadin.
