Site plan of the findingsIn the garden of the vicarage was excavated in 1955 to 1960 a burying place of the early Middle Ages. It was a question of against 70 burials.

Also two churches of the 5th and 5th/6th century were found. Underneath it was found a lime kiln of the 4th century. A hall church with stalked apsis and free-standing altar was the 2nd building. A small grave building was found at the northern side. Also several coins of Marcus Aurelius Valerius Maximianus (285 - 305 AD), Gaius Flavius Valerius Constantius (Constantius I; 305 to 306 AD), Flavius Julius Constantius (Constantius II; 351 - 361 AD) and Flavius Theodosius (379 - 395 AD) were found. 1988/89 was laid open the apsis of a further church of the early Middle Ages and 14 more burials.
