Remains in the proximity led some researches to believe the whole complex is related to the Mithraic shrine. This is not proved yet. Probably it was a large domus. It was outside the city walls and was built against the end of the 1st century AD. This underground room was possibly a summer bedroom. This house had a lot of mosaics.
