140 meters south of the present church on the Kirchberg
was built in the early first century AD a roman farm.
The heart building of the mansion which was oriented to southeast had living rooms, two corner projections and a Porticus at the main facade. It was 35 to 11 meters large. In front of the northwest facade was presumably also a Porticus.
The mansion was later extended. In the north of the main Porticus was constructed a basement. On the southwest side was built a annex with three rooms.
At the northern corner was built a bath-house. It had several rooms from which at least the tepidarium had a hypocaust.
The southern projection, one of the bath-rooms and the central room of the living rooms had rests of a mosaic floor. In the central room of the living rooms were found rests of a white painting with vegetable motives.
In the double room of the southwest annex were two stoves, presumably to cook and bake.
The villa rustica was used until the end of the 4th century.
