In the present hamlet Santel
was built in the first half of the 1st century AD a roman farm.
Finally the mansion was 41.90 to 41.70 m large and oriented to southeast. It had a large hall with two side annexes. A porticus was on the valley side. This had two floors, that means one of it was a cryptoporticus. Later was built in front of it a further portico which had living rooms in the western part.
Approx. 20 meters northwest of the mansion was the bath building. It was 15.50 to 12.5 meters large and had 6 or 7 rooms.
The farm was given up already before the year 250.
During the excavation of 1933/34 lots of the mural painting and fragments of the wall slabs of marble were found. In the bath building were also found painting and hypocaust rests.
