In the first half of the 1st century
AD was built a farm south of the present old town.
It was altered repeatedly and given up during the invasions of the Allamani (around AD 260) or possibly around the middle of the 4th century.
The mansion
was oriented to southwest. The central building was 56 to 22.5 meters large. It
consisted of the living rooms, porticus and corner projections.
Later two rooms in the south were equipped with hypocausts. In the northwest was added a building. On the mountain side was built a porticus too.
In the south was added a big bath-house. It had more than 10 rooms. 6 with hypocausts and 3 with sewers. After all the mansion including the bath-house hat the dimension of 106 to 33 meters.
In 1826 three rooms with mosaics were
discovered. These were preserved at place in two shelters.
