During the building of the Entreroche channel in AD 1640 was found a milestone from the time of Publius Aelius Hadrianus.
This
belonged presumably to the street from Lousonna to Urba that must be run at this place. The
natural passage in the ground which was used for the channel was expanded for it.
The book "The Roman in Switzerland" specifies as a place of finding two coordinates: 531 600/167 900 and 532 500/168 300. These are west and east of the channel, that ran here between the points 532 400/167 900 and 531 650/168 350. If the ordinate and the abscissa of the mentioned places of finding are replaced, this shows the rough course of the channel. In that case the stone would have been found at a not defined point in the channel. If the information in the book is right, the stone would have been found in two parts and furthermore besides the street.
The milestone is today in the Musée cantonal d'Archéologie et d'Histoire in Lausanne.
