On the
present field Mueschhag was built in early first century AD a timber farm.
Approximately in the middle of the century it was altered in stone.
The timber farm was 10.5 to 10 meters large. The first stone villa had a building from 31 to 10.5 meters. A horseshoe-shaped porticus with two corner projections was added to this. The front of the building was to north-northeast.
Later was added a bath-building at the northern corner. In the southeast were constructed living rooms. In the final stage the building was nearly quadratic.
The bath-building was altered repeatedly. Finally it had 9 rooms, two of them with hypocaust.
An adjoining building from 26.5 to 11.5 meters was in the north-north-east. Two further buildings are known.
Approx. 30 meters north of the big adjoining house was a pottery.
The villa was given up in the 1st half of the 4th century.
The field name "Mueschhag" is not mentioned on the map 1 : 25'000, however "Muesch". This place is at the coordinates 605 700/251 300.
