In the 1st century AD was built a villa rustica next to the present Estói.
In the 2nd century
was rebuilt the mansion. Its rooms were grouped around an atrium.
In the 3rd century the building was expanded. The new rooms were
grouped around a peristylium.
To this addition
was added a bath-building.
This had an
apodyterium,
frigidarium, tepidarium and
caldarium.
In the 4th century a sanctuary was built next to the mansion. This consisted of a
cella which was surrounded by columns. Possibly it was dedicated to the cult of the nymphs.
Today parts of the villa from the 2nd century, the buildings from the 3rd century and the sanctuary are to be seen.
