In the upper picture the foundation walls of the barracks are marked. The southern rooms show in each case pits (through darker grit marks). One suggests, that these served as a latrine pit for the excrements of the horses (without drain). In the respective northern rooms were 3 soldiers accommodated.
In the lower picture the reconstruction of such a cavalry barrack is to be seen.
