With Black Carts a short stretch of the wall is to be seen. Here also a turret is visible. This stretch is therefore so interesting since it was a question of the single one where in spite of the foot and mouth disease the wall could be visited (direct was, however, also here not possible).
Wide western the fort Brocolitia was. This is in private ownership. Whether actually still something is to be seen is not known to me. The fort was being built in the 130s AD. The Vallum was to this time dug already and had to be filled.
Also a temple of Mithras appertained to this fort. It was outside of the fort on its southern side. It was preserved and is accessible. The construction corresponded to the usual one of such a temple. On the long side benches were to the left and to the right set up. An altar was before the back wall and at the wall a relief which represents the bull killing through Mithras was.
