Saturday, 03.11.2001 - Muenchwilen, Aargau

In the gravel pit Rorenmatt many bricks which presumably came from a brick stock were found in 1925.

Besides a water pipe was discovered. These should be still preserved at the coordinates 639 550/265 350 - which are a little to the south from that. However, I could not find any information.

It is presumed, that this supplied a farm, which was examined at the coordinates 640 100/266 200 in 1963/64, with water. Also from this farm nothing is to be seen today anymore.

On the lengthening of the line farm - water pipe is approx. 100 m to the south the chapel St. Ursen. However, no information about the water pipe is to be find also here.

Further information about the water pipe (source, length, design, ...) and the roman villa (building date, period of use, size, number of buildings, ...) are not know to me unfortunately.
