After 1970 tile rests was discovered, 1982 walls came out. Yet only in 1985 it was recognized that it is a question of a single roman villa.
The main emphasis was placed onto the preserving of the two detected mosaics. The first was called after the representation of a venatio. Different beaters are to be seen. As animals bears, deer and lions are to be seen among other things. The apsis mosaic shows only a pattern and is black / white.
The second mosaic represents Bacchus and Ariadne in the center. Both mosaics are in very good state and far too many stones are not missing.
Still some find objects are exhibited in showcases. It is a question of utility articles such as glass and earthenware, however, different things of metal. Among figures from the lararium also some fragments of the wall painting are to be seen.
In the upper floor an alternation exhibition attends at this time to the gallic roman necropolis of Arconciel.
It is to me
incomprehensible why even the photographing without flash is prohibited.
A little pitiful is too, that the foundation walls (except for at the two mosaics)
were not marked at least. At the two mosaics only a ground plan of the house is
hanged.
