Thursday, 18.05.2000 - Schaan, Principality of Liechtenstein

To the protection of the military street Curia - Brigantium was built at 367/369 AD a fort.

The gate tower of this was preserved. It is a question of the only entry of the fort. Fort (Gate tower)

Along the church up to the angle tower is furthermore a part of the wall to see. The building showed next to the mentioned gate tower a tower in all four corners. Furthermore also a tower was astride the wall opposite the entry.

Explanation

In the Schmedlegaessle a part of the roman street was preserved. This is concealed by a drain cover however. There is no sign about the street.
