This book describes the limes buildings in lower Germania (Germania inferior).

First different points are mentioned shortly: name and character, natural area, excavations, different buildings, military troops and other.

Then the different sections of the limes and also the hinterland in Germania inferior are described:

At the end is described the late empire defense system in this region.

Since the book remains silent about what is today visible - with few exceptions - it is not suitable to look up the today visible buildings.

It is suitable however well to get a general idea of the defense system in the northwest of the empire.
